I didn’t want to, but my husband did- and he won since there were very few things he really asked for.  And I survived, and it was kinda fun.

I bought a cheapie “throw” garter at Joanne fabrics and made a fancy “keep” one for later that night…

Other than I smacked him when he lifted my dress up too high (short dress!!) and told him absolutely under no circumstance was he to use teeth with my grandparents and parents still there, it turned out fun and he let me pick the music (Foxy Lady- sooo Wayne’s World!).

Yes! I love that etsy seller, I have had her bookmarked for ages and will definitely be getting a set of garters from her.  I absolutely HATE the toss though, and will be simply wearing them under my dress for a sexy suprise for the husband later in the night (that is, if we’re awake enough to even get me out of my dress by then…)!

We are definitely doing a garter toss at our reception.  I’m pretty sure it’s a necessity where I’m from…I’ve never been to a wedding that didn’t have one!  But I totally respect the decision to not have one, too.

I had my garters custom made from a gal who does both eBay and Etsy, I believe.  I actually got her contact info here at the Bee!  I absolutely loooooved her work, it turned out perfect, and I’m using it as a surprise for my fiance! Her contact info (in case anyone out there is interested) is: Loricia Kudrna [email protected]  And she’s always happy to get referrals too ๐Ÿ™‚

I plan on doing it also, even though I don’t like to be the center of attention–I also used etsy to find mine! Etsy has done wonders for all this planning I’ve had to do ๐Ÿ™‚

I wore one.  I will admit, it was very uncomfortable and it kept sliding down my leg.  Regardless, I don’t regret it.  And I love the one that I found.  It was very simple and I had it customized with out initials so it’s one-of-a-kind.  (I can’t find the one that I ordered, but this one is very similar–mine had two initials, not one)

We are doing it and I am wearing a really two pretty blue ones for my something blue(one is to toss). I am still not big on the whole “show” but my fiance’ and I decided to do a toned down one (I’ll wear it lower on my leg before the “show”)…we decided if I was doing the bouquet toss then he’d do the garter toss ๐Ÿ˜‰

We’re not doing a garter toss, but I’ll be wearing one.  It’s my something borrowed and it has a little blue on it– kills two birds with one stone.  Tongue out
