@Mollytov:  I have it DVR’d and plan on watching it tonight. I love Lena Dunham and the ads looked hilarious! I can’t wait to watch – and yes, I’m totally predicting that this will become my new summer show too!

Bumping because I’m so obsessed with this show.  I loved last nights episode and that they are beginning to explain Adam more.  Even though I thought their relationship was so hysterical before understanding who he is.

I can’t stand that show, or even the previews for it!  The main girl is so entitled.  I watched the first episode because it was praised so highly in a review I read, but I was just…like…how are normal people supposed to relate to this?  And if we’re not supposed to relate to it, then why is it trying to be normal?  She is living off her parents…what a spoiled brat!!!  I did want to know more about her friends, though.

@peachacid:  Did you watch it or did you just see the preview?  In the first episode her parents cut her off – and therefore the show becomes about her learning to survive financially without that support.

I think it’s so weird that people don’t find this show relatable.  I love it because it reminds me SO MUCH of life after college – of so many boyfriends, so many of my girlfriends, so many awkward moments that totally could have and possibly did happen to me.

I always say that it’s the relatable Sex and the City, because honestly…could ANYONE relate to being filthy rich and successful in NYC with sexy men fawning over our flawless 36 year old bodies constantly?

My Fiance and I are hooked on this show.  Although, the last 2 episodes have been slightly disappointing!

I just think it’s a little too stereotypical?  Like I’m embarrassed for women sometimes when I watch it.  (Not the financial aspects, because I can definitely relate to those!)

I’ve watched several episodes out of curiosity, and I’m not going to watch anymore. It’s clever and intelligent, the acting is great, etc., but I find it depressing. The relationships these characters get into are so degrading.

“Sex and the City” had some of that too, but SATC was funny. I was a huge SATC fan. I don’t find “Girls” funny at all.

I love this show. Last nights episode was hilarious. Shoshanna cracks me up. When she bolted down that hallway I almost peed myself.

Last weeks episode (when she goes home) was super boring..but I love the characters.

This show is my newest obsession. Darling Husband hated it though, we have agreed that this is one of those shows that will be “mine”.

Has anyone seen Lena Durham’s movie Tiny Furniture? I want to watch it so bad but I can’t find it. Anyone know where I can find it.

Really enjoying this show!! I think it’s super relatable and it’s such a nice change of pace from something completely unrealistic, like Sex and the City was.  This is actually a really witty and relatable for 20-somethings!

@JessesGirl:  I just watched it on Netflix!  It has most of the same actors, actually (playing the same kind of people).  It is kind of slow but very much along the same lines as Girls.  Quite possibly just a really long episode…

@KateByDesign:  I just found it OnDemand on the Sundance channel, I didn’t even know that I had this channel. I’m starting it right now!
