I always said before I didn’t want a gap. But then I fell in love with this band in yellow gold:

What are you ladies’ thoughts of having a gap? There is a bee with a set like what I’m looking at, but I forget her name. I hope she comes to this thread! Here’s my ring:

Can you try it on? It’s hard to tell without seeing it on your hand ๐

WhatMaeBee: Sadly no. I’m dealing with a jeweler I know well that custom makes/custom orders. She usually has some new and consignment in her shop itself.

I have a similar wedding band. I love the look of a gap! Agreed that it will be easier to decide by going to a jewelry store and trying on some different styles in different widths/etc.

I have a gap and I really like it. It think it allows each ring to shine.

It all comes down to personal preference! ๐
I’ve liked the look of some gaps but not the feel. And vice versa.
One thing that would “bug me” about your solitaire basket beside a straight band is that it would “see saw” back and forth on my hand, with the basket as the pivot. (I wear my rings loose enough for comfort, which would also mean loose enough to see saw.)
Anyway, I’d suggest that you make sure you’re comfortable with the return policy or with the prospect of choosing not to stack them after all. If you’re good with either of those, then, you’re golden.
Just my $0.02.

NFLwidow: I wear my rings fairly snug. I don’t like loose rings so it doesn’t spin or anything on me. Do you have a gap?

SomethingBlue1009:
Most of my stackers sit flush but I have a few variations where I rock a gap. I don’t have a single pic because I have many versions of my marital bling. My celebration stack today has already changed three times, since I wasn’t sure what was I going to wear and I couldn’t decide which accent color I wanted. I ended up with all white stones but mixed yellow and white metals.

SomethingBlue1009: I also have a channel set curved eternity band, but I like this one with the gap better.

I don’t get to wear mine until next year, but here’s what my gap will look like! I thought it would bother me initally, but my e-ring sits so low it was unavoidable, and I didn’t really want a curved wedding band because I’m a fan of straight lines ๐ I like how the gap looks, it makes them stand out individually!
Excuse my awful nails – been having a hard time trying to kick my nail biting habit!
