It sounds like you’d rather watch Say Yes to the Mess! πŸ˜›

I’m actually cleaning today too. Other bees shall be with you in cleaning spirit!

In fact, I’m digitally sending you some of my cleaning enthusiasm RIGHT NOW. As soon as you read this message, you will start to feel motivated to get up and work, and when you get started with the cleaning, it will go a lot faster than expected. And then you’ll relax again and it shall be marvelous.

A little bit of mess in the house never killed anyone– I say give yourself a night to just relax.  πŸ™‚  Seriously, the mess will still be there to be vaccumed and swiffered later.

Why’d you let the cleaning lady go? I love love love my cleaning lady… of course, she also does half my grocery shopping, pays my billsm and orders our drinking water (something about the language barrier….) hehe.

cleaning can be fun! just put some music on, zone out and go at it! If you sing to yourself while doing all this (think of the swiffer and vacuum handles as microphones) it will go so quickly you won’t know how your house got so clean!

Would your son be able to help? I know I swiffered alot in my days! haha

I clean inbetween commercial breaks that way I can lounge and get a little bit done. Of if I’m not watching tv I set an alarm so every 20-30 min I get up from the computer, book, or whatever and do about 5-10 min of cleaning.

ick belle as usual we are in agreement i was so proud of myself for unpacking the kitchen! i hate cleaning and should delegate it to a saturday morning or something like that to ensure that i do it and just make it a routine or else it will not get done. i would much rather do hobbies lol!! however i am discovering that i don’t like to display my hobbies in a dirty house so there you go lol!! imagine what your papers would think belle!!

i hate cleaning and would love a cleaner but hubby doesnt feel comfortable with strangers in the house so i have to do it all myself (we’re kinda traditional as hubby does zero housework/cleaning/cooking)… but since getting a dyson i do enjoy vacumning because im shocked by what it picks up – now if cleaning the bathroom was just as much fun

Ms B… for motivation…. umm…. get off the chair and start cleaning or i’ll call family services πŸ™‚

They have a show about cleaning….it’s called ‘Clean House’ (such an inspired name, I know).  Watch that show and you’ll feel better about your mess.

I hate cleaning too.  What I do is clean for only x amount every day, and eventually it gets done lol.  Otherwise you’ll get burnt out really fast.  If your child is old enough, you should begin gently coaching him/her to tidy up after themselves.  Same w/your husband/sig other if he lives with you.  That’s my big mess maker, the fiance.  Right now his ‘training’ is just starting, with ‘shut the closet doors after you take something out/put something in, and put your shoes in the shoe bin by the door’.  Lots more to go though.

UGH i so have to clean too. My parents are coming to stay w/ me next weekend and my mom has very high standards for cleanliness! Doesn’t help that I am a SUPER messy person and my house is well… super messy. I have lots to do and no motivation to do it!

I’m in the same boat as you, bellenga.  I. HATE. TO. CLEAN.

I am a teacher and a single mom, so by the time I get home at the end of the day, I am exhausted.  Between my school work, tutoring, grad school, dance lessons, making dinner, and packing lunch for the next day…I’m too tired to do anything other than sit on the couch!  Not to mention the fact that we have a Bernese Mountain dog that likes to leave gigantic dust bunnies (monsters) all over the place.  Luckily, I have a lovely bf that doesnt mind doing the dishes.

Regardless, if you find a good source of motivation…LET US KNOW!  πŸ™‚

Put on some music – anything with a good beat – and get scrubbing πŸ™‚ Usually works for me Smile

I like to scare myself into cleaning. I find if i invite people over for dinner every couple of weeks, i will clean like a madwoman the day of.   Otherwise, i hate cleaning too. Poor poor hubby. I hope the economy picks up so that i can finally afford a housecleaner again too!   Even my mom who only comes to visit once every three weeks will come and start cleaning a little here and there. Thinking i won’t notice but its sooo embarassing.
