I am sure this has been discussed before, but with everything going on I don’t have time to search the boards 🙁
I originally bought the “Diana” shoe from DB, and after standing in them for only about 10 minutes last night during my fitting my feet were killing me. I think I may need to splurge on some really comfy heels. These are 4″. Any suggestions??

@onourway13: Cole Haan makes, by far, the most comfortable high heels I’ve ever owned in terms of dancing and being on my feet for hours.
The pair I own have their Nike technology in them. They’re 4″ Barbie-pink slingbacks. I’ve worn them to several weddings and danced the whole night while wearing them. I admit that after six-eight hours my feet are glad to be out of them, but not in unbearable pain.
Kate Spade’s lower heels (I’ve never had over 3 inches) have also done me well in terms of dancing/standing for hours.

clarks. they have some cute slingback heels that i tried on. they may not be “wedding-y”, but they were black patent, and could easily be jazzed up with some shoe clips (and then worn again after the wedding)

I have a wide foot and it it sooo hard to find comfortable heels. For everyday wear i stick with aerosoles and for the wedding surprisingly i found a pair at payless that i glittered. They are the karmen pump by comfort plus. They are just a basic pump but i got them super cheap and glittered them red and they are soooo comfortable!

I have to stick with as close to 4″ as possible as my dress has already been altered to the height of the shoe. I definitely want a more “weddingish” shoe, but hopefully one with comfort!

Spring Step is a comfort brand of shoes. I think my wedding shoes are about 3.5″ and I know they have some that are higher than mine.

These might work for a fall wedding- you could get some bow or blingy clips for them and they would be practical for after the wedding too. I have several pairs of Sofft shoes and they’re great.

+10000000 for Cole Haan
Via Spiga also works well for me
As for wedding shoes… I wore a pair of Enzo Angiolini shoes that were comfortable, but I still kicked them off during the reception for maximum comfort.

Cole Haan heels are my favourite if I need to wear heels on an active day.

I love Calvin Klein for pumps!!
As much as everyone loves Cole Haan they don’t work for me..the soles are comfy but every pair I own takes all the skin off the back of my heels no matter what I try. I think it’s a sizing issue for me that just doesn’t work. Makes me sad 🙁
But my CK shoes are wonderful! I am wearing flats but they have some wedding appropriate heels like these Ivory Peep Toe Pumps.

Another vote for Cole Haan. These were the ones I wore for my wedding

I have a two-shoe strategy: I have white wedges for our grass ceremony, and any pictures that might catch my shoes, and then I have a pair of regular nude pumps (also a Cole Haan addict) that I wear to work that I plan on changing into for the reception. I couldn’t really imagine myself getting enough wear out of ivory shoes to justify spending the kind of money that I need to spend to feel comfortable. And I’ve never seen a reception shoe picture.

@onourway13: ENZO ANGIOLINI!! Seriously, I am not a heels girl AT ALL and I can spend hours and hours walking and dancing in these heels. Tons of cute colors and styles and heights to choose from. Check out Nordstrom or Zappos as they usually have some on sale.
