kristin36890 :  after reading your first post, my first thought was that she was trying to get it for herself!

NO NO NO absolutely not!!! Do not let your Maid/Matron of Honor guilt you into giving up your honeymoon suite!!! This is your big day, you are the one spending major $$ on this venue and you deserve to enjoy the perks! Ew, I can’t believe she had the audacity to suggest such a thing. Enjoy your wedding and your wedding suite, and don’t stress yourself over this foolishness.

Ha! Maid/Matron of Honor wanted to score the honeymoon suite for herself? I’m kinda thinking what a bitch right now. JUST. SAY. NO.

It will be your honeymoon–you get the honeymoon suite. Period. Different subject. No matter how many times she brings it up.

kristin36890 :  NO! who’s going to clean that room in the morning so you can walk in to a fresh suite? not them!

kristin36890 :  sounds like she just wants the nicer room. Screw that – the bridal couple gets the honeymoon suite. Plus it wouldn’t be fair to kick people out of their hotel room while you get ready in the morning!

Well, I can kind of see her point…NOT.  So just kidding.  I just wanted to see how it felt like to say something so ridiculous.  It’s your wedding!  And it’s called a honeymoon suite for a reason!  It’s not called a “big room where the wedding guests can crash” suite.

kristin36890 :  Youre getting married. You get the honeymoon suite. So my question is if you put 6 guests in the same room, they are all going to be hanging out?? It may just be me, but I would much rather have a room to myself.

Just saw the update where she said it was for her and some friends. Big fat NOPE!

kristin36890 :  your not a bridezilla for wanting the honeymoon suite for YOUR WEDDING. You are too nice she wasn’t being logical she just wanted her and her people (brothers, mutual friends) to have free accommodations. It’d be logical & unselfish if she said give the suite to the parents etc. but she didn’t she suggested it for herself and her people. She tried to pull a fast one lol it’s your (and FI’s)  money, wedding, honeymoon so don’t give in!

I’m sorry, your Maid/Matron of Honor is an idiot. Is SHE paying for this wedding that has resulted in you getting those 7 hotel rooms? I think not….and for that reason it’s none of her business how you choose to use them.

Keep the room for yourself.

kristin36890 :  it wouldn’t be called a “honeymoon suite” if it wasn’t meant for the bride and groom. It would be awkward for 6 guests to stay together IMO anyway, unless it was a family of 6 or something. When Fiance and I stay at a hotel for a wedding, I wouldn’t want other people in the room with us… how weird of your Maid/Matron of Honor to suggest this.

kristin36890 :  Nah, that’s weird. Honeymoon suite is for….honemoons. People will suggest all kinds of things. Just say, thanks for the suggestions. The room we got could have had four people but it wad just us two.
