I think that would look wonderful for a southwest style wedding and if you’re going to feel comfortable and happy in it then go for it! I think a nice lace top would look wonderful and your hubby could maybe have a turquiese (sp?) tie with blue jeans and plain white button up?

i love the color of the skirt and i think if this is what you feel comfortable with, then hey, that’s what you should do! i’m sorry but i don’t have any bright ideas or tips for you but i just want to say that it’s nice to hear that you will go with something else than a traditional white puffy outfit.

i’m looking and looking myself for a suitable wedding dress but haven’t found anything i really like yet. have played with the idea of wearing a colored dress, something nice, but also something that i would be able to wear later too, not just on my wedding day. seems like such a waste to get a dress only to wear it for one occasion, though it is a special day.

or, i might borrow a friends wedding dress. could you do the same? to save yourself some money perhaps?
