I’d love to read it!

Just from our wedding, I know there were a lot of people who wanted to give toasts, so brevity is key 🙂  But let’s see what you have, and go from there!

@mamadingdong:  You should post it, to me the best tosts tell a funny story involving the person speaking and the bride/groom and then the two meeting or something that happened shortly thereafter.

I think that’s super cute. I love the backstory of how you grew up and your “first date!”

That’s really sweet! I would maybe leave out the parts about booze and spending boozy nights together – I dunno how conservative her family is, but I would be embarrassed if someone talked about partying and drinking in front of some of my very conservative relatives, especially the older ones like my grandma. Maybe check with her to see if she’s okay with you bringing up drinking stories?

@mamadingdong:  I think that will come across when you’re reading it, throw your attitude into it!

@mamadingdong:  Oh my goodness, I’m sorry!  I got busy at work and totally forgot to come back to this!

I love it!  About the right length (if you want to shorten it at all, a bit less about elementary would be fine, but it also works as-is), and love the story about how they met, and when he told you he loved her.  The details on that part are perfect (and hilarious!)  I think it will elicit both laughs and “awwww”s, which is just what you want 🙂
