Is that terrible of me?! This is a 2nd (and FINAL) marriage for both of us. We had about 25 immediate family members at our wedding ceremony and about 100-150 people at the reception. We were both so glad to see Sunday afternoon arrive because it meant that everything was picked up, put away, and ready to be returned. I think we were both just so ready to be able to move on as husband and wife and raising our 3 kids that we didn’t even care that much about even the reception. Either way, we have been married almost a week now and are getting all the financial and legal stuff sorted out as soon as possible so that we can be happy and get into a “new” routine as soon as possible.
By the way, there was not really anything that went wrong or bad for our special day. We had hoped to get married in the pasture, but rain kept us from that and we ended up getting married in my parent’s living room in front of their fireplace. However, that definitely wasn’t enough to spoil the day!
Surely I’m not the only one that was glad when it was all over and put away……
