I assume you don’t wear contacts or you wouldn’t be asking this question 😉

It sounds like you think that wearing your glasses will make you look less beautiful, and I don’t think that’s going to be the case. If you regularly wear them, everyone knows you as you-with-glasses, and they won’t see the glasses at all. They’ll just see you. Happy.

jazzyb123 :  I made a post about this the other day. We are made to feel we are less beautiful or less bridal if we want to wear. I had my make up and hair trial the other day and whilst I looked nice I felt super awkward until I put my specs on, BUT it didn’t do my eye make up any justice. I think I am going to have the majority of photos etc with my glasses on, but a few without. Not sure what I am going to do for the ceremony. I don’t have to read anything so that’s not a problem.

In my opinion, every time I’ve seen someone who normally wears glasses go without – they look like it.  There is always this sort of squint people get, even when they aren’t trying to read something, when they aren’t wearing their glasses and try to look like they just normally don’t wear glasses.  Sometimes it is super subtle, but its definitely there.  That squint is way more distracting than glasses.

MsBeer :  a good makeup artist should take the glasses into account when deciding what to put on your face. You should look and feel like yourself at your wedding (glasses included).

LilliV :  Oh my H&MUA is exceptional and I loved what she did. I am just used to seeing my glasses on my face!

I wear glasses but I also have contacts.  I wore contacts for my wedding because I didn’t want to worry about glare of the lenses with pictures, not to mention I hate the way I look in glasses.  I have very dry eyes which is why I don’t wear my contacts exclusively.

I’m as blind as a fkn bat without help. I wear both glasses and contacts – but I’ll be wearing my contacts 🙂

I wore my glasses and so did my husband. Our glasses are a part of our identities and we love them and we wanted to look like ourselves on our big day.

I will definitely be wearing them, since I can ONLY see blobs of color without them. I’ve worn glasses since I was 6, and aside from a few years of contacts, it’s what I’m the most comfortable in. I only ever take my glasses off to go swimming or sleep. When I try to take pictures without glasses, I make crazy eyes. 🙂
