I do. I’m aware that it may seem weird but Cory Monteith’s death affected me more than the death of any other celebrity.  There are a few reasons I think this is so but mostly because I’ve been watching Glee religiously since the pilot. I feel connected to the characters and Finn is one of my favorites.

I have a soft spot for Cory/Finn and I feel a bit heartbroken.

I’m looking forward to next week but in a sad sort of way.

Oh heavens I haven’t watched Glee for ages, since about half way through season 3, but I was obsessed when it first came on and yes, I am blubbering 🙁

ETA – I think what really gets me is that unlike most tv-series deaths where the person is just leaving the show, he really is gone and it just makes their grief that much sharper, you know that they’re not just acting it as characters but that they’re dealing with it as people too… hearing Lea Michele singing in and of itself was enough to set off the waterworks.  I can’t imagine the pain she was feeling.

@MissPine:  +1 I’m the same way. I sobbed for days when he died. Not non stop, but I did cry for a few minutes at least once a day for like a week, and then every few days for the next few weeks. I won’t watch next weeks episode alone.

I’m in the UK and season 5 starts here tonight so we’ll get the farewell episode in a couple of weeks. Not at all looking forward to it. Love Glee and it was great than Finn was going to be a teacher, will probably be a blubbering wreck!
