Originally, I wanted to crystalize my heels but I think that it would be a tad difficult since im out of the country and if I ever run out of crystalize it wont be so easy to order a bunch more and get them in time. boo 🙁 So I figured I could glitterize theem instead and add the crystals to the heel itself instead.
Can anyone tell me how to do so? I know that I should buy the mod podge but what kind of glitter should I buy – super fine glitter? The heels I have are black.. Im thinking to use white glitter. Here is an example of what I want to do..
Also, how can I ensure that the glitter wont fall off ?
And heres another example.

I saw shoes just like your first pic atPayless shoes tonight! They were about $25. May be a savings in the long run for you!

If you want your shoes to be white, it’ll be really difficult to just put white glitter on black shoes without any of the black showing. You have to get closer to white, so at least an ivory shoe is necessary.
The type of glitter that you should get is dependent on how you want the shoe to look. Based on the pics that you showed, you would need fine or super fine glitter.

I did mine, they were tan suede and I glittered them an aqua color as close to the BMs dresses as I could get. If you do a few coats, maybe 3 or 4, you should be fine. You can’t see any tan color where I’ve glittered mine. Make sure to use super fine glitter, I used the Martha Stewart brand and don’t be shy with the modge podge. Do a final coat or two of just modge podge to seal them as well and all should be fine! If that sounds like a lot of layers, don’t worry, it doesnt make them stiff at all.
