- Wedding: February 2011
I want to add some color to my attire- I’m very white, my hair’s blonde, my dress is white, the backdrop for my wedding is white… I’m considering using dark red as my accent color. A choker, deep red roses in my hair, burgundy shoes, and…? Well, I need gloves, since it’ll probably be 30 degrees outsides and every little bit helps, but I’m not sure what color to get them in? White seems like it throws off all my accents and makes them to insignificant or unbalanced. But my fiance argues that red will be too showy and detract from the dress. He suggested I wear white gloves with dark red lace gloves atop them. But it is extremely hard to find DARK red lace gloves… so now I have a dilemma? Can I dye lace gloves? Or should I get dark red gloves and wear white lace atop them? Or maybe just stick with plain old white..?
