Now that it’s getting colder I need to wear gloves. Has anyone had issues with wearing gloves and their engagement ring at the same time? Mine is very uncomfortable because it’s tight but I don’t want to take off my ring. What do you girls do? Not wear gloves?

As I put on my gloves two days ago, I thought of this, too.
I didn’t come up with anything. So curious to see responses about this!!

I had this issue today, but just sucked it up and put the gloves on even though it was slightly uncomfortable. Though, after a few minutes I forgot about it and it stopped bothering me.

I just bought some new leather gloves over the weekend, and I think I ended up with a pair that is a little looser than they would be if I wasn’t wearing a ring. My ring is has a flatter profile, so that may make a difference, too.

I have these glove things built into my jeans and a few blazers, actually. They’re called pockets.
Har har har har.
I have to take my ring off for gloves, sadly. Maybe I need those homeless-person mitten/knuckle gloves!

I turn my ring sideways and it seems to fit okay into gloves. I have no idea why that works.

Fiftyfootbride: I considered for about 3 seconds taking my ring off but I know I’d probably loss it so I didn’t dare!

Ewww I hate gloves with my ring! It takes me like 10 minutes just to pick all of the little fuzzies out!

You can cut a slit over where the ring fits and then hem the edges up. Sometimes that part of the finger gets a little cold, but it was the best compromise I was able to find.

I have never had a problem wearing gloves with my rings. But I always wear knit gloves (wool, cashmere, etc.) – they have a little more stretch to them I guess. I don’t wear leather gloves – those might be more fitted and therefore too snug for the ring.
