Personally I’m not a fan of gloves.

I had to wear them for my debutante ball and they made my upper arms look like stuffed sausages.

There is no graceful way to get that glove off for the ring to be placed on your finger.

I voted no. It’s just not a look I’m a fan of. And the logistics are difficult on getting if off to put the ring on. Then what do you do with it?

I am not wearing a dress that “needs” gloves to be worn….If I had a vintage or antique dress then, yes I would wear them for the ceremony and take them off for the reception.

Isn’t the ring put on over the glove? I thought this is how it went….

Hmmm…I wore gloves when I got married last May!  I really liked the pair I had since they matched the trim on my dress, but they were fingerless so I didn’t have to worry about the whole “ring placement” thing.  Be prepared to get your feelings hurt by a lot by people’s opinions on here if you do wear them though.  🙁  It is a tough crowd around here when it comes to gloves…which I didn’t realize until after I had already gotten married.  Oh well…I loved them, so I rocked them!  Do you have a certain pair in mind?

When my cousin got married, his wife wore long gloves, and she pulled it off gorgeously. It can definitely be done, even if it isn’t the “norm.”

I voted no – I’ve never thought they look classy. They seem outdated and almost a little prom-ish.

Going to be too hot in Florida, plus they never fit my fingers right.

I have never seen gloves on someone and thought ‘oh that looks great’!

Gloves tend to work well on superheroes and video game characters. I don’t prefer them on brides.

Wow, all these glove haters! lol I personally like the way some gloves look, depends on the glove, the dress and the lady that is rocking them.
