I am using pocketfold invitations where it is trifold, with the centre being where the invitation is mounted and the right has a pocket where the rsvp etc go.
What glue is best for gluing the invitation cardstock to the pocketfold? I don’t want white glue oozing out all over my pocketfold and I find glusticks aren’t that good for getting into corners.
Or should I be using double sided tape?

I used glue dots. The come in different sized and only cost about $5 for 300 dots.

We used Elmer’s spray adhesive and it worked great. Covered easily and didn’t leave anything oozing out the edges.

I used double sided scotch tape 🙂 worked great!

@MrsPom: Agree! The lady who did our invitations used the 3M double-sided clear scotch tape. It came with a roller, so it was pretty easy to apply. She used it for everything, even mounted our cherry wood veneer invitations to the textured cardstock.

I used scrapbooking adhesive that comes on a roller like white out tape. I bought mine at Michaels. I would recommend going with the bigger roll as that rolled really well and fast whereas the smaller ones were very glitchy and got stuck often. I used WPD invitations and their pocketfolds. After you roll the adhesive onto the invitation, just attach it to the pocketfold and press hard to make sure it really adheres.

I used zip dry. It works very well and you don’t have to use much.

I’m going to use Zip Dry. It’s what cardsandpockets recommends to use with their pocketfolds. We’ll see how it geos this weekend!

Don’t use any runny glue, because it won’t hold. Glue dots are good, and I swear by spray adhesive. But be very careful with it, because it sticks to everything. Put down a sheet of paper to spray over, and make sure you hold the spray can back at least a foot or so, otherwise it’ll soak through the paper.
I’m a Graphic Design major and I’ve had to mount dozens of things. If you have to splurge on something good, get good glue!

I’ll add another vote for getting a double sided tape runner. I used spray glue on my save-the-dates and found it a little messy. It got on my fingers and then would get on the front of the invites when I pressed it down. I also tried glue dots, and they worked well, but were more time consuming. The tape runner was the easiest and fastest for my DIY pocketfolds.
