Have you tried tried glue dots? I find that double sided scotch tapes works really well too, but it depends on what exactly you are glueing together…

I would get a glue dot or tape dispenser that is refillable. They have a ton of options at michaels. Expensive yes but well worth it. I used the scotch one I believe, it’s purple

Zip dry was really great for my paper projects.  It depends on how thick your paper is.  I would do a test sample with different glues and let it sit for a couple of days to see if it gets greasy on your paper or not.

I highly recommend glue dots. They are inexpensive at Michaels if you use the 40% off coupon they have on their site

Double-sided adhesive tape – look in the scrapbooking aisles at your local craft store. They are archival quality and meant to attach paper to paper.

@skipanther:  They make scrapbooking adhesives specifically for paper. There are spray adhesives, although I have never used them before, so I can’t recommend them from experience. I used scotch photo splits, those double-sided adhesive squares. They’re very easy to use. Check in the scrapbooking aisle at your local craft store, or ask one of their sale associates for their advice.

Spray adhesive is great if you have large pieces to glue together, but it’s very messy. Be sure you do it outside or in a well ventilated area, and cover everything you don’t want glue on. That spray goes everywhere. I was using it once at church in our fellowship hall, next to two open outside doors, with doors to the rest of the building closed, & by the time I was done you could smell the fumes in the farthest rooms. Luckily I was the only one in the building. Double sided tape or glue dots work wonderfully for attaching paper together. And Scotch has this tape dispenser that I love. I’ve found them at office supply, Michaels, etc. You roll it across & it lays a thin strip of adhesive.
