@MsGinkgo:  Haha, our guys will also be wearing the Black by Vera Wang Tux’s. Are your guys wearing a colored tie? Wew just going with black. The girls are wearing this dress (the model looks ridiclous in it, but were hemming them to just above the knee…they look very nice on)http://www.lechateau.com/style/jump/Ruched-Satin-Dress/productDetail/Little-Black-Dress/295145/cat220121?navAction=jump&navCount=0&categoryNav=true&filterValue1=BLACK&selectedColor=Black

I went to a wedding like that last year. The ushers were also wearing pewter (kind of a shiny grey) dresses. It was elegant!

@MsGinkgo:  I think this will look pretty sharp.  You might consider charcoal or mid grey suits instead of the grey Tuxedos, because the guys can get one at Tip Top for $200, and they’d get to keep it for the same price as renting.  Just a thought.

As to the grey/black combination, I think it will look sharp.  I’m assuming an afternoon wedding?  I would add some bright colour to the groom in the tie, but would go with sedate ties for the GM’s.
