I am not much of a shopper, but every so often I go on a spree and buy a buttload of stuff (usually online) and it all arrives to the house within a few days. It’s an exciting time for mail!
I’m currently expecting wedding photobooks for us/our parents, wedding canvas prints, a dress, some shoes, a hair straightener, and I just had an impulsive purse buying episode last night. I ordered almost $900 worth of two Tory Burch bags – the same bag but in different sizes and colors. I guess I hope I like it since I’ve never tried it in person haha. I think it’ll be good though.
Anybody else buy a lot of stuff recently and care to share?

Pinkmoon: Not a spree per se, but I was in a crappy mood yesterday while traveling for work and stopped by Target (already exciting as we don’t have one in our town). I got this adorable bench on clearance for $33 and felt way better! Yay retail therapy.

lolot: I saw that on clearance in Target the other day and loved it! Unfortunately, we have nowhere to put it, so I let it go, but it’s so cute.
Last weekend, Fiance and I were at his parent’s beach house and discovered a TV in his dad’s “junk closet.” His dad has an addiction to buying every single new item that comes out, so the closet is filled with barely used electronics of all sorts. We took the TV because it’s bigger and nicer than the one we have now. On the way home, I stopped to get a few things at Ikea (which of course turned into way more than it should have) and Fiance decided he was going to buy a sound bar at Best Buy to replace our clunky speakers and receiver. So, all told, we got a new TV, a bunch of stuff at Ikea, and a sound bar. Luckily, he’s selling our old TV, speakers and receiver online, but it was an expensive day! Oh, and then we got home and realized our existing TV stand is too small for the space (and the new TV) now. So now we’re in the market for a new TV stand – it never ends!

Pinkmoon: Yes, I most definitely have gone on an online shopping spree! In fact, I ended up finding my wedding corset bra, slip, and wedding shoes.

Just this month I’ve order: a new hair straightener, tons and tons of books (most of them free thanks to an e-book settlement credit I got at Barnes and Noble), make up, one of Shaun T’s Rockin Body work out DVDS and a matching Coach bag and wallet.
I need to stop.

I read your post and was like, no I haven´t had one, but really if I think of what I’ve bought in the last 2 weeks I would say it’s quite a bit: So, last two weeks: a LV bag 🙂 (been wanting it for a while now), like $300 at sephora (had a wedding to go to), 6 bracelets and one amazing necklace (was for a charity event), a pair of very nice earrings (needed them for the wedding), a pair of expensive jeans (I lost weight so I NEEDED them/ DESERVED them), a clarasonic (had to have it)……. So you know, I just suddenly needed these things lol!!!

I love shopping but we’re trying to focus on saving money right now. That was going great until I got stuck on the couch 3 weeks ago with a serious knee injury. Now I’m bored and moody and I’m itching to go on an online shopping spree. I don’t even have to get up!! But I’m trying really hard to distract myself until the urge passes, haha. We’ll see how that goes…

Ugh, yes. It’s so awful, since I’m unemployed and really trying to save money while I look for a job! It was just my birthday and we went on a mini vacation so I splurged a little. It’s mostly stuff for our vacation to Cancun that’s coming up; I bought a swimsuit, a coverup, a big hat, sunglasses and a little travel toiletries case. Also got myself the cutest pair of earrings, a MAC concealer, NARS Amour blush and a cute little ruffled blazer from H&M. I hit up a lot of sales and used a lot of coupons so it wasn’t SO bad.
