Has anyone tried embossing any Gocco prints (including text)? I want to add texture to my main invite and wanted to emboss the actual text… don’t know if this is too much. I should also add that this is would be my first Gocco project — is it too ambitious? Should I just scrap it?

You are reading my mind! Just last night I was thinking about how much I would totally love a Gocco printed design with embossed text on my wedding invitation!
I think you should go for it. I’d love to know about the process and how you intend to go about it!

I embossed over my Gocco’d design for my save the dates… and while it wasn’t lettering, it came out really nice. I gocco’d the designs and sprinkled the embossing powder on them right away, i’d then let them sit until I had sprinkled 10 or so (just so I didn’t have to turn the embossing heat tool on after every single one) and it seemed to work out quite nicely. I love the way they turned out, but I do have to warn, it did take awhile to accomplish with both the goccoing and the embossing. I think embossing the lettering would be just as nice, just make sure you put the embossing powder on before the lettering dries. Good luck.

@Luvbug- would you mind posting a picture of the finished product? I’d love to see what yours came out looking like!
