Hi – I’m about to order a gocco machine but i was wondering where people usually fill up on their screens, bulbs and inks. Should I buy it from the seller who is in Japan (and pay shipping) or are there places in the States (NYC, specifically) where I can buy the screens/bulbs/inks for cheaper? Where have people found the best deals for the supplies?
Thanks so much!!

I get my gocco supplies from this site:
There prices for the supplies seems reasonable but their shipping charges are pretty expensive. I heard from one of the flickr gocco group board said that pearl paint sells gocco supplies on the 4th floor. I might check it out today.

I buy my gocco ink here..shipping is fast and inexpensive

Pearl Paint does sell gocco inks, bulbs, and masters, although the supply is very limited and the selection of ink colors is really hit or miss. They’re on the fourth floor directly in front of the cash register.

I ordered my extra ink, screens, and bulbs from ThinkInk. Excellent service.

The gocco ink at pearl paint is $3.50 each but when I went there really only had 4 colors….

My current gocco card that I printed
I went to pearl paint today and got the master screen print and the bulbs and the whole total was $23 dollars + 30% on the master screen print. Can’t beat that price cause Welsh ripped me off from the shipping charges. From now on I’m getting my supplies at pearl paint. I saw that they sell riso inks but not a lot of colors that I wanted for the mean time. Maybe next time I’ll pick up the riso inks…I’m so excited that they sell gocco supplies there.

I’m sorry to hear that people are having bad experiences with Welsh Products. I recently ordered from them and had great service, and the shipping seemed reasonable to me. When I called to ask how much shipping would be approximately (it IS a little annoying that they don’t have an online store), they told me it would be about 10% of the order total. This seemed ok to me, so I went ahead and ordered. The shipping cost ended up being less than 10%, and I didn’t think it was exorbitant at all.
I ordered things other than inks, however (replacement bulbs and screens, too) so perhaps the shipping is less reasonable if you’re just ordering inks.

While looking for Gocco videos, I found that paper source sells some Gocco products! I don’t know how the price compares though:
