I am wondering the same thing! I thought maybe take a picture that you have, turn it using photobooth on imac, into a ‘cartoon’ drawing of the picture and then try goccoing that. I am going to try in the next week so I will let you know how it turns out.

I think it would depend on the type of paper you were printing on… but I can put some gocco ink on a photo at home and see how it dries?  You can most definitely stamp the gocco on anything… it’s more of how it looks in the end with the ink.

I actually did this for my table number.  I used some of my engagement photos, printed on regular gloss paper, and gocco’ed the table number right on the photo itself and matted it with some heavy cardstocks.  It turned out really well.  At first I was afraid that the ink would not dry, but eventually, it dried and everything turned out right. 

I’ve seen similar thing done on photos for Thank You cards as well and it also turned out beautifully.

Also you can get texted photo paper at some art stores. I bought some at dickblicks.com and it worked great! Plus gave it a great look.
