So, my boyfriend uses my computer somtimes to check his email and stuff (his computer frequently has issues). Sometimes he accidentally leaves his email and stuff up, and to be honest, I’m just not that interested in his emails, so I always just log him off and go about my business.
BUT TODAY, I pulled up facebook, and went to check my messages… then I noticed that most of the messages were from HIS friends so I though “woops, not my facebook account” but THEN I noticed a message from my best friend at the top of the page. I didn’t open it, but I saw that the first few words were “Hey!! I like the second ring you…”
Soooo my assumption is that he’s talking to her about rings for me??? I didn’t read the rest of the message because I don’t want to ruin any surprise but AHHHH, I want to snoop soooo bad!!!

How exciting! I hate being tempted like that! Good luck trying to stay strong, I almost never do.

I mean, talking to your BFF + the mention of rings = I have no idea what else it could be.
Bless your heart for not reading more. You’ll be so thankful when the time comes that you let your guy surprise you with the special moment he has planned!

EEEEE!!! And grr at him for leaving a sloppy trail of evidence!! =)

That was the absolute worst time for me! My Fiance would use my computer and leave himself logged into his email ALL THE TIME. I actually ruined it for myself a little bit, so whatever you do, STEP AWAY! 😉 Tell him you’re planning some kind of surprise for HIM (maybe for Valentines’ Day or his birthday or whatever) so you don’t want him using your computer and finding out what you’re up to. That way he’ll be free from making mistakes like that and you’ll be less tempted to snoop! Hang onto that will power, girl! Good things come to those who wait! 😉

It’s SOOO hard to not open something like that – you are a strong lady 😉 Stay strong! I’m sure you’ll be glad you did. Keep us posted!
By the way this literally happened to me last night. I SO feel your pain!

@GingerSnap28: Ahh! We will stay strong together!
@Vintage Garden Bride: I was thinking of saying something like that just so I’m not tempted anymore.
And yeah, I don’t know how he could be so careless when planning something like this. Silly boys.

As tempting as it is, I would leave it – I was so close to snooping a few times during my wait, I was so glad I didnt as I was totally surprised when the moment came 🙂
At least you know it’s gonna happen 🙂

Haha at first I thought you said he was emailing HIS best friend for opinions on rings, I was like oh God no… this poor girl hahaha
Don’t snoop! By the sound of that email she’s helping him pick out styles, like maybe he sent her a few pictures? It doesn’t sound like he picked out or bought a ring. If you tell him you know you might slow the process! Good luck not bringing it up with your friend tho 😉

@Jenny267: Here’s to staying strong together! Is your stomach in knots too? I’m so anxious I can’t eat, sleep or concentrate!! This is just too exciting!

MAN! you’re a better woman than I am. How could you NOT continue to read?? Listen, I totally want to be surprised but I would like something to calm my nerves a little, damn. I wanna know that it is at least purchased LOL. And I don’t want to ask any of my friends or fam because I don’t want to look like a freakin loser. Hahaha UGH It’s sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hard not to snoop!! That’s impressive!

This was seriously me like two nights ago. Saw e-mails in my boyfriend’s inbox from a vintage ring store online, including one with a tracking number. I freaked out, but I was good and didn’t open the e-mails! Even though I know I could go back and check at any time, I really do want to be surprised. It’s hard but you must stay strong!

Oh wow! You have a lot of will to not snoop! I’m curious just from your post lol

Good for you for not snooping! I’d have to sit on my hands for sure! Keep us posted, though 🙂
