I’ve been following this thread and can’t wait to join when my dress comes in, in June! I’m 5’1 and love seeing all of these beautiful gowns on shorter brides. I’m also going with a cathedral veil – I have a family heirloom veil of my grandmother’s which I’ll be wearing. I can’t wait to get the dress in person and show you all!

Here is my veil. It was actually a royal length mantilla(longer than cathedral) but my seamstress split it and used the narrow part as blusher

I’m 4’11 and have been looking at ballgowns/fuller A-lines. My fiance is 5’9 so not too bad of a height difference, but I don’t really want to wear heels.

I am 5’3′ and 96 lbs and will wear a ball gown style dress in a few weeks. ballgown looked the most flattering on me.
