I don’t want to scare you… but I would think that Sunday is too soon to go back to work. Especially in Retail. I had to have 3 of my 4 cut out and the other broken apart and it was really rough. I wasn’t in any shape to do much of anything the entire weekend except Ice and then switch to heat packs when it was recommended (Bed Buddy from Walgreens, heat it up in the microwave for 1.5 minutes– heaven!) Even if you are feeling decent on Saturday night I would be afraid of overdoing it on Sunday and feeling MUCH WORSE after. My fiance told me that when he got his removed he felt decent the next day so he decided to go the pool and he says “one of the biggest mistakes of my life!” He swelled up and was in so much pain from not resting and taking it easy. I have a high pain tolerance and I had a hard time. My advice is to take it easy the entire weekend so you can fully recover. Best of luck to you!

I was literally fine the day after mine. No swelling. Only minimal discomfort ( prescription pain meds make me ill, so I only took Tylenol and felt fine.) However, I only got a local anesthetic. I prefer to avoid general anesthesia if at all possible, because I find it can take awhile to bounce back from it.

I had all four of mine (all impacted) removed. I had it scheduled it on a Tuesday (my Friday) and was planning to go back to work on Friday (my Monday) because my dentist said I would feel normal in three days. BS. I was out for an additional week. I couldn’t take any real painkillers because my medical would have been revoked. I couldn’t even open my mouth wide enough to get a regular spoon in for like two weeks. I talk for a living. Even when I went back to work I couldn’t open my mouth all the way and my face was swollen. It was terrible.
