I hate my hands – ugh so decided to start getting regular manicures between now and the wedding to make them look more presentable.
Right now my left hand nails are short to medium and my right hand nails are medium to long – classy right LOL but I am trying to figure out which looks better for the wedding and what type manicure I should go for.
I am pretty convinced that I want gel polish on natural nails and beyond that I am waffling!
So please choose the above options based on the pictures below and thanks!!!
Left hand short/medium natural nails
right hand medium long nails

I like the idea of shorter nails and a nude polish.

Does anyone else have any nail pictures from wedding or inspiration pictures?

Are you doing square or round tips? Please say square!

I just have to say that my OCD side absolutely oves hat you are doing a nail trial! Please come back and post results. 🙂
ETA: I voted for option #2 because I love clean, nude/light pink nails with a passion! And longer nails kind of freak me out (I’m always worried I’ll get scratched!).

I think a shorter nail with a more square tip would look really pretty and modern with a nude or light pink polish:)

@redheadem: LOL my nails are naturally ovals but when I get them done (ummm once a century or so) they always square them off. In the picture above they are completely unmanicured – just natural.

I think what I like to call “squirvil” nailswould look awesome on your hands! The nails are very oval right now, however on your left hand, ring finger 😉 is an excellent example of squirvil square/oval hybrid.
Gel polish ‘shellac’ is one variety, and lasts as long as you want them too…or until the nail grows out of course. The cool is that you can have whatever base colour you want, and then actually paint over them in whatever colour you like if you fancy a change one day…just remember to use NON acetone nail polish remover when removing the polish if you do this.
G’luck and have fun with it!

I like the shorter left hand one. If you usually do natural oval, I’d keep it that way. I never get my nails done and didnt want them to square it off and make it look too different from what I normally do, and I think since I never do it that way it looked odd on me. But if you’re starting now, you could do it a few times and see if you get used to it and like it more. I went with a medium length french manicure.

I like short nails with french manicure, but I like square tips.

I like short “squoval” nails with a french manicure. (Square with rounded edges)
