I once forgot a bra. I wore a swimsuit down to Florida, got there, and realised I hadn’t packed a single bra. Had to go get a couple of sports bras from Wal-mart for the week.

Last minute packing is stressful.  That sounds like a dream/nightmare that I’ve had often.  Have to pack really quickly and forget something really important, or can’t find my luggage.

I’m sure you’ll be able to buy some once you get there 🙂

I don’t think I’ve ever forgotten anything essential, but I remember a few years ago on a family vacation down South to the DR, my cousin realized she had forgotten her contraceptive pill.  She was on the plane when she realized this.  So the next day or so she started her periods and spent the whole week feeling kinda off, poor thing.  I felt bad for her.

The first time I flew out to visit my (now) Darling Husband, I forgot to pack shoes.  Granted, I did have on a pair of high heels for the plane ride (easy to take off and put on when going through security), but the fact that I had NO tennis shoes or anything for the rest of the outfits I’d packed was a bit ridiculous.  My first stop after getting off the plane was Target to buy Converse.

Oh no! My mom came to visit me this weekend and forgot her underwear, too! We bought some at Macy’s on the way to a Broadway show, and at the door they had to look into everyone’s bags. The security guy looked in her purse and then started opening the Macy’s bag. My mom said (rather loudly), “Oh, that’s just my underwear!” The look on the guy’s face was so funny, he was like, Wtf???

I have a cousin who forgot a hairbrush for her honeymoon, and the island they were on was charging $15 for a hairbrush!! She chose to finger-comb her elbow-length blonde hair, and secure it in a loose braid the whole trip.

I still think I would’ve forked over the $15 for a brush. lol

For our honeymoon I forgot to bring an entire suitcase. That contained our beach stuff. For a trip to the Bahamas. Whoops….

I usually forget chargers or contact things (solution, case, and/or glasses). Forgetting contact solution or glasses is THE WORST.

Chargers or underwear for sure…those are easy things to forget even though you need them everyday.I am kind of a crazy list maker though, so now I tend to make a list of everything I need before I pack, and then double check it after I finish–mostly because I’ve forgotten so many important things over the years!

I am so pathetic and am known to forget so many things when I pack that I now keep a checklist with my suitcase. While I’m packing I quickly run through the checklist and make sure I’ve packed everything I need. (I started doing this after forgetting my BCP at home one too many times!!!)

Usually my phone charger, but in the end it’s okay. I can handle going out of contact for a couple days. It does me good
