#2 is great.  I think you should do some sort of long for an awards show of that level!

Have you tried Rent the Runway?  That way you can get a really nice dress for not a super-crazy price!

@bellaluna290:  Yeah, me too.  I haven’t used them yet myself, but I get their e-mails and am thinking about renting a dress for the rehearsal/dinner.

Definitely use Rent the Runway! The dresses are extremely high caliber, and most of them are relatively affordable!

I like #2, and assuming by the 1st picture that baby room belongs to you, you look GREAT! I hope I look 1/2 as good after I have kids lol.

i think the 2nd one would be nice.  it’s a bit more formal.  i would be concerned about the length though.  based on your height, you may need to get it hemmed.

@jayebaby:  I can’t decide because I like both of them….but you should look at renttherunway.com…more options and not expensive at all!

Edit: I now see some other posters suggested this…

Here are some suggestions that I’ve found that are around $200 or less. Some of my fav brands.. Badgley, BCBG and Tadashi Shoji. I really love the idea of a floor length dress for this type of event! Shouldn’t be too tough to get a quick alteration or hem done on most of them.

I think any of these dresses would look gorgeous on you as well.
