Just wanted to share on here since I don’t have that many friends to tell…haha.
Darling Husband and I just booked a trip to Denmark!
We went to Paris for our honeymoon a few years ago and I honestly never thought we would be back to Europe this soon! However, we came into a little bit of extra money and decided to book what will be our last big trip before we TTC.
We have a really good friend (and former roommate) who is Danish and lives near Copenhagen. So we will be staying with her and getting to go to a bunch of different places in the country. She’s also going to teach me to make some Danish food and traditional crafts so I think it will be really fun. We also have a layover in Iceland which is downright cool!
Any Bees from Denmark on here? Or anyone who has been? I would love some travel tips or ideas for things to see!

Copenhagen is lovely! My SO and I went there for our first holiday together.
I would recommend going to the Rosenborg Slot – here you can see the Danish crown jewels :)
There is a really good boat trip that goes all around the canals, telling you about all the buildings. It also takes you up to where the Little Mermaid statue is.
We also spent a day at Tivoli Gardens. It’s a theme park but there is an old-fashioned wooden rollercoaster, aquarium, and if you stay until late at night there is a laser illuminations show.

Also you can get the train to Malmo in Sweden which is a lovely little place 🙂

GeekChic: Maybe you would like to see the castle that inspired Shakespeare to write Hamlet? It’s this one called Kronborg, and it’s in Helsingor. Around 45 minutes from Copenhagen with train.

Copenhagen is lovely. I am sure you’ll have a great time & your friend will know what places to take you to…
I liked the Round Tower: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rundet%C3%A5rn
Maybe you want to see the Mermaid Statue as well (it’s tiny though): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Mermaid_Statue
if you’re interested in an alternative lifestyle, check out the Freetown of Christiania http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freetown_Christiania
