    Same first letter

    Same first and last letter

Same first, last & # of letters

    Same # of letters

    Names that rhyme

    Same # of syllables

    Some other extreme not listed

None. I’ll pick names that I like.

Ours while rhyme. Guess I’m on the “crazy train!” My brother and I’s names rhyme, but it just flows. So, I’d like DH and I’s kid’s names to rhyme. It works out the names we have for a boy and for a girl that we love happen to rhyme Innocent

nah, we’ll just pick a name we like and one that flows with DS’s

but I am secretly stoked my best friend is naming her son a J-name with the same number of letters as my DS’s J-name.

I met people who have kids name Candy, Holly, and Milly.  Can you guess the last name?

It’s Gram.  Yes I WISH I was kidding!

My second cousin did this (though not to the same extreme). She had a whole brood of boys & gave them all names starting with “J”.

If FH & I have a child, their names have to start with “N”. (Because of our initials.)

My kids names end in the same letter an kind of rhyme all coincidental.   Their names also end in the same letter as their dads and somewhat Ryme also coincidental

My dad and my two brothers have the same initials. And my dad is a junior. That’s about it. Fiance and I have discussed some names but they aren’t in any type of pattern or anything.

@lalalalauren:  I’m a teacher too and I will have the same problem when it comes to naming our children. I already know I can never have a Kyle or Zachary. Too many bad experiences with both of those names.

I probably won’t put anything cutesy into naming our children. Just good strong names that have some connection to our family background. We’re both of Scotch/Irish descent so the names will likely have ties to our heritage.

ETA: Along the hope/peace route- I currently work in a school with siblings named Harmony and Peace (twin girls) and an older brother named Sincere and an older sister named Faith.
