On the US side or Canadian?

Its beautiful! Friday nights they have fireworks in the summer.. its a site to see! The Canadian side has a lot more to do than the US side, so I recommend reading up on things to do. And, if you like steak- make a reservation at The Keg. You wont be disappointed!

I live about an hour away!  The Canada side is much prettier and has more to offer.

Stay near Clifton Hill… that’s where all the shops, restaurants, the casino and the falls . The Falls View Casino has a great brunch buffet and is kind of across town from Clifton Hill.

Try to take a day trip to Niagra on the Lake.  It’s about 30 minutes from the falls but is the cutest little village ever (have tea at the Prince of Whales)!  There are lots of wineries on the way.

Have fun!!  You will love it… very romantic 🙂

We go to the Falls all the time.

I second going to the keg it is at the top of the Fallsview hotel I believe and ask for a window seat overlooking the falls – it is just beautiful and if you go around 10pm on a Friday or Saturday you can watch the falls from up there.

Clifton Hill is where all the action is but it is very touristy but tons to do – museums, haunted houses, mini putt etc.

If you have a car make a drive out to Niagara on the Lake it is just gorgeous and there is a butterfly conservatory out there (Not far 15-20min drive). Also there are tons of winery’s in Niagara so you can leave the touristy areas to go for a romantic winery tour as well.

i think we stayed at the marriot last year.. the view was outstanding.. we had a fireplace and jacuzzi directly over the falls with a HUGE window. so amazing.

if you like some adventure- take the jet boat ride that  leaves out of niagara by the lake.. we had a BLAST on it. you get soaked. Then we stopped at wineries all the way back to the falls.. really pretty.

Check out my bio for our engagement in Niagara.  We stayed at the Embassy suites which was very nice.  We got a great rate and a HUGE suite.  The breakfast was nice as well.  Everything was cooked to order at the buffet and our table overlooked the falls.

Well in that case!Def stay away from Clifton Hills. Too touristy. Mainly for underage US kids to come over and drink.

Definitely visit the wineries if your into wines. They have some great wineries there!!! Marynissen is this tiny tiny shack but good wine!Jackson Triggs is a beautiful vineyard with a huge amphitheater outside. I think they have events in the summer.www.wineriesofniagaraonthelake.comSee if there’s a wine event going on that week!

I’ve been DYING to try Treadwell cuisine for ever! It’s farm to table cuisine. http://www.treadwellcuisine.com

Right in NF is CopaCabana which is a Brazilian steakhouse.www.copacabana.ca

Have FUN!

The Watermark at the Fallsview Hotel and Casino is nice.  It’s a little black dress kind of place.  The Keg is a bit less dressy but really good food!  I was there in the fall but I didn’t take pics.

We were in NYC in June!  It’s our favorite place ever so we might go on a mini-moon there since it’s only 4 hrs away.
