It’s been really hard for us to stop “looking.” We’ll pass by a house for sale and the first reaction is “OH, here’s one for sale, is there a flyer!?” lol.

Slowly, as we’ve been renovating and getting it together, I have less and less desire to THINK about moving or seeing another home! lol. But, before closing… it was really really tempting!

When’s your close date? I can’t wait to see your changes!

We thought about going to one yesterday even though it was way out of our price range. I am nosey and wanted to see what the inside looks like 🙂 But we decided against it. We are waiting to close and I felt like we would be “cheating” on our house haha. I know it sounds weird.

I think its like wedding dress shopping!  STOP LOOKING!

I do love the idea of seeing other open houses in our neighborhood though.  One in ours just had an estate sale and we went and loved being able to walk around the inside of the house.

I’ve owned my place for several years and I love looking at open houses in the neighborhood.  I’m not going to move, but its a great way to get ideas for my house and it also keeps me informed about what is out there in my neighborhood.  When we do sell (in 5 years) – we’ll know what the competition looks like because we keep up to date on the real estate market in our neighborhood.
