so everything seems to be going wrong with this wedding.
The invites were sent 3 weeks ago and have not heard even close to half the people
Don’t know if my mom, sis and her family, or grandparents are even coming
Bridesmaids won’t get ahold of my to get dresses picked out ( i am doing the miss matched thing)
can’t find job to get extra money on side ( full time student not many hours to work)
Now i had to move with no place to go cuz they found black mold in my apartment building so i need a job to get a new place to live ( no one gives a place to 2 college students with no jobs and my FH just got laid off so we broke)
what is next ? less then 100 days till wedding and still have so much to do and no time. It is getting so crazy that now i am looking at my dress and hate it ( I loved it when i bought it but it has never been close to my dream dress. It was in my budget and i loved it but now i feel it is too plane for my style) idk maybe i am just getting into bridezilla mode already.
any advice for a freaking out bride

You’re not a bridezilla!!
Just breathe, things will work out. In regards to the RSVPS you just need to wait for the deadline and then start calling people to figure out if they’re coming. You need to talk to your BM’s and let them know that they need to sort out the dresses with you. Maybe email or call them? With moving I think while it’s a bummer you have to move it’s lucky because you could get really sick with all that mould! Is there anyone you can stay with nearby? or could you move in with family and take a break with study for a term? Your Fiance will find another job soon, I’m sure.
My Fiance and I recently moved across the country because I was studying and he lost his job. We’re staying with his father until we get settled in and I’ve taken a year off uni. I know its going to be really hard for the next couple of months but hang in there. Something will happen and it’ll all fall into place soon.

@Misfit Thanks so much for the saport. It is so nice to beable to rant and have great people like u help and share their story to help calm me down. I have such a great Maid/Matron of Honor that when she heard what was going on (even though she just moved her new family in their new house) she invited us to stay with them. And your right the mould could have gotten us very sick and thank god it didn’t. Thanks again i am feeling better now that i can talk to people about it all. Thanks i hope all works out well with you and your Fi.

@mothercrow: Wow your Maid/Matron of Honor is amazing. 🙂 Just keep positive and it’ll work out. You’ve always got people here in any case. Good luck with everything!!

@mothercrow: Not sure about your state, but if your apartment has black mold in it they may be obligated to pay for hotel costs and many more expenses.
Find out what the landlord-tenant laws are in your state.
Here in my state if that happened they would be responsible for putting you up in a hotel until it was taken care of, or pay your first months rent and deposit on a new place.
Also, since you’ve been displaced you are likely to be due back the last rent payment you made (for April) and possibly your deposit. More so, if the apartment had mold when you rented it and they were aware, they rented you an illegal apartment and would be in deep shit.

We did get our april rent back and our deposit and they were going to put us in a hotel but my Maid/Matron of Honor said that she had room and it would be better on my son and my dog to have more room to run so we did that but the landlord has to pay for the first month rent at the new place once we find one so that is all good it is just finding a place that will let us apply for a me place with no jobs so i am working on finding a new one that works around my school days. thanks again all you are so great
