I am really struggling to find affordable wrapping paper to use for DIY envelope liners. I have found a bunch on etsy but none of them ship to Canada and if they dooo it’ll cost me $40… as much as the paper itself!
That will be my last resort… but if anyone who is bored wants to suggest anything, I’m game 🙂
It really must be gold and cream/white/ivory chevron! Pretty please.
Also, I have found rolls online for $30… I’m just worried that the chevron is a bit too big for envelopes…
Any help would be super appreciated cuz I’m all googled out : (

@mu_t: Does it have to be wrapping paper? Could you find a scrapbook paper that would be big enough? If they’re just lining the envelopes, could you just put the patterned paper on the side of the envelope where the flap is?

Where are you in Canada? Close to the US at all? Maybe you could have it shipped to a bee in the US? I’m in Detroit and will volunteer.

@kb7: It definitely doesn’t have to be wrapping paper, it just seems to be the most economical way to go about it. But you’re right, I should try looking for scrapbooking paper too!
@JLR1982: That’s so sweet! I live north of Toronto so Niagara Falls/Buffalo is closer to me but I do head down to Windsor occassionally to see my fiance’s family! I might take you up on that if I can’t find an alternative. Thank you so much, you’re so great!

Have you tried doing wrapping paper linings yet? The reason I ask was because I was going to do linings for my invites and it ended up being such a pain in the butt and was taking forever, I nixed the project and quit after one roll (ended up being like 14 or so invitations in a smallish roll).
I’d recommend a test drive before you spend a lot on it. Good luck, though. More power to you!

@engleman10513: good suggestion!
@Jennlee: totally wish i saw this in the morning haha. i already bit the bullet and paid the $40 shipping for the paper i wanted. i’m insane. and i am going to MAKE IT WORK because i just spent a small fortune on a detail that i am certain NO ONE will notice/care about. my fiance has given up at this point and is just like. whatever. do whatever you want. haha.
Now i’m stressed it’s gonna be a much bigger job than I had anticipated. Wahhh.
