I’d actually go with a groupon or sale price before I maintain brand loyalty for such a generic item. Once I have my specs in mind, I’d bargain shop. Lifetime servicing is the only other thing that may affect my patronage, I think, so if that’s on your radar, then I’d focus on fullfiling that need before focusing on your price point.  Just my $0.02.

Happy shopping, Bee!

Okay, so don’t make fun but we actually got my 1.5mm 14k white gold wedding band from Amazon for only $105.00. And I LOVE it. I was able to order it in just the right size 4.25 (UK size I) so it didnt need to be resized. For us, it was a great way to save money…we went over budget on my ering. Worst case scenario you don’t like it and you send it back for a full refund. Hope I helped!

Well, high polish is possibly something that would make me prefer a B&M jewelery store with lifetime service plan. That way I could bring it back in for repolishing and such. For example, I never anticipated staying in one area so I went with a national chain for my e-ring; I get it serviced no matter the US location and when abroad it stays in the bank box.

MeandMyLouboutins:  Sure, and let us know what you end up with! Are you gonna stack it with your set or wear it alone? Either way, that’ll be so pretty. And I always forget you’re in Canada, boo. (Boo because for some reason I always think you’re in California somewhere and closer to me! 🙂 )

MeandMyLouboutins:  I love e-weddingbands.com. I’ve gotten a couple of bands from them, and it was a great experience each time.

MeandMyLouboutins:  if you’re only looking for a plain band, I suggest you go with e-wedding bands. Reason I’m recommending them to you is because their plain rings are all die-struck and not casted, so the metal is compressed, which means it’s stronger and tougher, no air bubbles etc. & wont scratch as easy as a casted ring. One of my husband’s ring is from them! His 1st everyday ring was a thin 14k that we just bought in a hurry, his 2nd everyday ring is the one that we bought from e-wedding bands. One time, we went to a local jewelry store because we wanted to combine both rings, but the lady said it would be better not to do that because it will cost more than just buying a new one, and that his ring is a really good quality die struck ring (i didn’t tell her the ring was die-struck, she just knew), so we decided not to do it. He would just use his e-weddingbands ring most of the time.

He does have a 3rd ring that’s also die-struck in 18k, but it was bought online from Weta workshop (Wetanz). It’s his special ring, so he would only wear it on special occasions lol.

check out this e-weddingbands site and read about their die-struck rings. They’re also pretty cheap! http://www.e-weddingbands.com/store/faq.html#machined
