Hi ladies! I’m toying around with a gold sash, did anyone out there choose to go that route? If so, have any pictures?
Also wondering if it would clash to have a silver sash / silver accessories but gold accents at our wedding (and maybe Bridesmaid or Best Man with gold). Thoughts? I feel like brides can stand out and not match if they want 🙂

@daysiee: My dress has silver beading and I’m wearing silver accessories but my room is decorated in gold. I think that’s just fine, silver is kind of a neutral in my mind. Or such is my rationalization 🙂

@daysiee: I’ve been wondering the same thing! My decor accents, and even the ties for the groomsmen are all in the gold family, and I’m wondering if it will be weird to have all my accessories be silver. I’m thinking of maybe going a rose gold route. Any brides out there who are doing the same? I feel like its tough to find gold or rose gold belts/sashes, etc.

I’m planning to wear a rose gold sash from Something Ivory on Etsy. This Etsy store also has some other gold sashes which look amazing (and fairly affordable)…here’s a link:
Here’s the one I plan to order:

I’m wearing a silver blingy belt, but everything at my wedding is white and gold. I think its fine! You don’t want to be too matchy matchy. I also mix metals though, so maybe just me!

@daysiee: I am debating the same thing. I asked about different sashes in this thread:
Wedding day look: Help needed! (very pic heavy)
basically, I had a couple gold sashes I liked-hope that helps:
The first one is actually light gold….doesn’t really look like that in this pic though.

Oh pretty! Thanks ladies!
By The Way I decided to do silver/crystal and stand out as a seperate look from the gold reception. It’s my wedding, I do what I want!
