(Closed) Gold-tipped and -dipped roses?!

    If you’re concerned about the expense, these gold dipped roses are also quite expensive.  I was prepared to say that it was a tacky idea but I do like it if you were to give one to each Mother-In-Law and than you always have a special momento.

    It’s a bit too much for my taste.  I went with high-quality artificial flowers, (think from florist wholesaler, not Micheal’s).  Even nice artificial flowers are cheaper than real blooms, (it was $18 for 3 gardenia blooms at the wholesaler; I got enough artificial gardenias to make my bouquet and my girls’ boquets for that), they last forever, and you wouldn’t have to worry about Customs.

    I find the gold-tipped ones, in particular, tacky. Sorry!

    The gold-dipped thing, well, four roses isn’t much of a bouquet. Would you be able to add in some real flowers for filler?

    Consider making your own bouquet of real or fake flowers.
