Have any of you bees gotten married at Golden Gardens Bathhouse? Now that I am only weeks away from the wedding, I am all of a sudden worried about lighting… I will have candles and maybe some string lights. Possibly paper lanterns, but otherwise no special lighting. Will my dance floor be too intimidating and therefore empty? Anyone have experience with the bathhouse? Any advice for a budget bride? Thank you!

I’ve attended a wedding at the bathhouse, I don’t remember there being an issue with lighting. I think candles and string lighting will be plenty.

What a fun venue! It was the first one Fiance and I checked out. It was October or November and POURING rain. We ended up choosing another venue because we were miserable there in the sideways rain… but it’s beautiful on nice days!
Here’s a blog post with photos from a wedding in the bath house. It looks like they have string lights along with the lighting at the venue… scroll down for pictures after it gets dark. On second thought, I can’t tell if that hanging light above the dance floor for the bouquet toss comes with the venue or not. Here’s another photographer’s blog with the same hanging light pictured… hmmm. My guess is the venue comes with ample lighting that will look great with string lights and candles!
Seriously, google “wedding golden gardens” or something similar, and you’ll find tons of ideas. 🙂

Thank you both! Yeah, I’m sure it will be fine. Just last minute second guessing and minor freak-out time!
