Gold typically has a little more yellow, whereas champaigne is a softer color with more tan.

I am going with db’s golden even though I thought I wanted champagne. The golden is a classic golden with a brown hue, not too yellowy. I like the slight shine that the textured satin has that the champagne doesn’t since it’s more of a flat beige. If you PM me your number, I can send you the pic my Maid/Matron of Honor just texted me of her in the golden dress to give you an idea bc it’s hard to tell from internet pics.

It’s my understanding that champagne has a bit of a pink tint to it, and it usually a little lighter.  Also, lots of companies have different interpretations of ‘gold’ and ‘champagne,’ so one company’s champagne may be another place’s gold.
