We’re getting married in San Clemente at Ole Hansen Beach Club and it seems the city dies at night. We can’t find a place to have an after party, but probably 50% of our guests are from out of town. Any suggestions?

Good Question – I wonder how late Beach Fire is open? I would think it would be open ’til 2pm.

I don’t know of anything in San Clemente, pretty dead at most places in the evening… best night life would be more San Diego. But side note, Ole Hansen was the first place I looked at, great location… just not big enough for my too large wedding 🙂

When is your wedding? We are getting married at Ole Hanson in October. Beach Fire stays open late and The Cellar is nice for wine and beer. How late is late?

The wedding is the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, so Ole Hanson makes you clear out by 9. That’s another problem, too, because it’s still dinner time. I’ve never been to Beachfire or Cellar, but someone else recommended both. Is Beachfire still dinner-y around 8:45ish when we’d shuttle our friends over? We were looking into the Cellar too – do you think that’s the kind of place we’d have to rent out since it’s so small? For “late”, since our wedding ends earlier, we’re really only looking for someplace that would stay open until 11 or 12ish on a Sunday night.

Our wedding is scheduled for the Ole Hanson in Jun 2010. Riley – I happen to go check out the venue the Sunday of Labor Day weekend and probably saw your wedding. It looked beautiful and convinced us to book the site.
Anyone who had their wedding at this venue have any recommendations? I’m worried about parking? For a summer evening wedding, were there spots available or should I provide a shuttle from somewhere?
