- Wedding: December 2014
So I am looking for bridesmaids gifts. I only have one Maid/Matron of Honor and one Bridesmaid. My Maid/Matron of Honor is my twin sister and my bridesmaid is FI’s little sister. She is 12.
Fiance and I are adjusting to living together and paying bills together. We are also 64 days until the wedding (AH) and have quite a bit left to pay off. Because of this we don’t have loads of money to spend on wedding gifts. (also considering that my wedding is so close to Christmas and my sister’s wedding is 2 days after Christmas. BUSY month to say the least.) I still want to get something for my girls to show that I appreciate them being there for me on the wedding day.
I found these knot rings that I thought would be cute. It would be appropriate for my 12 year old future sister-in-law and my twin sister(22). )I’m also planning to get one for an old roommate who has agreed to take our kitty from the night before the wedding until we get beack from the honeymoon (that’s 8 days!)
I would order in silver and rose gold, not silver and yellow gold like the photo shows. (ignore the ring on the ring finger)
I’m juedding is super low key. Still definitely a wedding and I have a nice wedding dress, but we are only inviting family and very close friends. All in all I think we have invited around 45 people. Our bridal party consists of us, my sister and his sister as bridesmaids, and his 16 year old brother as a groomsman.
I will also provide my sister will a mini mimosa making kit with a mini champagne and orange juice with a glass. And for his sister I will get a sparkling juice with an orange juice and a glass so she can enjoy the fancy fun with us. 🙂
I feel like it’s fitting because I adore any and everything rose gold. My engagement ring is rose gold. Rose gold is a part of my every day life )earrings, watches, wallet, phone case… I’m obsessed. It’s a problem). So the rose gold could “represent” me and the silver portion could represent the girls. I am obviously already tied to my sister as we are twins, but I think it wil be especially special for his sister who was so excited about getting a sister. (The day we got engaged she said “I have a sister now!!”)
I’m just unsure if this is “enough.” Everyone knows we can’t afford the most extravagant things, but I don’t want anyone to feel underappreciated.
(I’m also 64 days until the wedding and want to get everything ordered. I’m also doubting my decision for gifts for everyone. I posted earlier asking about my idea for gifts for moms. I’m freaking out to say the least!!)
