Alright so as it’s looking were going to be moving from PA to CO about 3 months before our wedding. Now I know this sounds alarming but we’re only doing a courthouse wedding so we don’t have deposits or anything like that. Here are my options:
1. Push back wedding until we get settled in CO (flights for our family will be cheaper due to the bigger airport there anyway)
2. Get married before we leave and get over that our pictures won’t be in the fall (pa in the fall is to die for)

You’ll be fine, get married when you want to. We moved across the country 3 months before our wedding and it was fine 🙂

Welcome to Colorado! Colorado winters are also beautiful and depending on where you are moving in the state you can really have some amazing pictures with the mountains. I am a little bias over Colorado but it would be also nice to have your family come visit once you have settled in a new place.

@Lbward6: that’s kind of what I’m thinking but my Fiance is all “we can’t get married when it’s snowing!!” I’m not so sure why he feels this way LOL I think snow makes for beautiful pictures. I’m most worried about not having everything settled before we run off to our honey moon

I think the options above are:
1. get married in PA before you move
2. get married in CO after you move
If that’s the case, what about an option of getting married in PA in fall after you move?

I’d keep your original date and keep your plans the same (for Pennsylvaina in fall).
Unless the flights back are super expensive or something?

@Laurenskii It really depends on where you are planning to get married too. In Denver the snow is really minimal and the weather is mild. Obviously further south and west in the mountains it snows more often. The good news, it is sunny almost every single day so it is unlikely to have an overcast day!
