I saw some scary posts about issues with Etsy sellers and thought maybe it would be a good idea to start a post on Bees’ GOOD experiences with sellers, what they bought, etc. Or also if there was an issue with their order and how good customer service was handled. From looking at the feedback and everything it’s really hard to know which sellers are a ‘sure thing’ and good to trust.
I think many, many people have awesome experiences with Etsy sellers….so I’d love to hear about them!

I think this is a great topic!!!
We ordered our silk flower bouquets, bouts and coursages from LKWeddingBouquet on etsy, they were much smaller than what they appeared in the pictures she sent me, Also we discussed before hand that the bridal bouquet was to be 14″ across, it was smaller coming in at 12″, and the Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets were closer but still smaller than we discussed at 10″ across and we talked about them being 11″-12″. And when she shipped them she didnt seperate the bouts from the bouquets, the bouts have berries on them that snagged the ribbon on bottoms of the bouquets. So i contacted her back and she gave me a partial refund and has apologized like a million times LOL. I do love my flowers, even though it wasnt exactly what i thought they would be, but her amazing customer service made up for it.
Hope that helps someone else!!!

Oh and since I started the thread figured I’d add that I’ve made two Etsy purchases thus far, although they were recent and I haven’t received the items yet:
I got my bridal jewelry from Azure Treasures. Her stuff is to die for and looks amazing. She seemed professional and handled everything well. I received an email yesterday saying the package was being shipped and provided a tracking number. I’m so excited to see it in person!!
I just ordered bridesmaid clutches/wristlets from Syl2830 or Sylvia Cadle. Loved what I chose for the girls and placed a deposit this morning. I received an email with my exact requests for a reserve listing, and all seems to be going well. These will be handmade but she has asked for the date I need them by.

I bought a dress from LoveJune on Etsy this past winter and had a great experience. She helped me customize the back on one of her original designs, and it came out even better than I had hoped. The material was really beautiful. She completed and shipped it on time, and it arrived pristinely packaged and accurately sized. I got about a million compliments when I wore it to a friend’s wedding!
It looks like Sara, the main seamstress, is currently on maternity leave, but normally she does wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and other dresses and tops. Her prices are very reasonable considering the quality of her work; around $200 to $400 for a custom dress or gown depending on the hem length and design complexity.

Birdcage Veil/Hair flower: the red magnolia Marilyn was amazing. She did a rush order for me (I had previously purchased an elbow-length veil from BellaBridalVeils, and decided with less than 2 weeks to go that I wanted a birdcage/flower. She was very communicative, and when I explained my time crunch, she made and shipped both the veil and the flower right away, and I had it within a week. For both, including shipping, I paid $38.
Elbow-length Veil (not worn): BellaBridalVeils Wonderful veil, excellent price, and fast shipping, but I changed my mind at the last minute about what I wanted to wear.
Fleur de lis chandelier earrings: nolamera Beautiful earrings, gave me the touch of New Orleans I wanted, very reasonably priced, and shipped right away. Unfortunately, it looks like her store is currently closed.
I often use Etsy for Christmas gifts, and have yet to have a bad experience with anyone (save one seller who had to cancel my order because her basement flooded, and it was where her workshop was, so it was out of her control, and I had a refund within the week), but these were the sellers I used for wedding accessories.

WireNameMike is great to work with. I bought my cousin a necklace for Christmas last year. I ordered it the Monday before Thanksgiving and received it the Monday after. I was very impressed with his work and the fast shipping, especially with the Holiday.
