My bridal shower is coming up next weekend and I want to give my cousin and my aunt who are hosting in a lovely gift. I am think jewelery. I local jeweler makes this nice, simple thick bangles that you pinch close. I fugure its simple enough that it will fit both of the ladies styles. It cost $40 dollars for one in brass. Is this a good gift? Did you give a thank you gift to your shower host or do you have another idea for me?

@jjah89: I think that’s a great idea!

I think any gift you give is generous.
However, if you want opinions, I would probably never a wear bangle, and it would be a waste of $40 sitting in drawer somewhere. I really don’t like other people picking out jewelry for me, and I rarely wear jewelry, anyway.
Personally, for $40, I’d rather have a trip to the spa or something, but that’s just me! You know these women better than I do, so give them something you’ll think they’ll appreciate.
I think I’m probably going to do little baskets with mini bottles of champagne, BB&B candles (I know my girls like those, they all use them), some nice chocolates and a nice note.
