@Purple_Bride:  I’m not even going to list all the stuff I have to do. Let’s just put it this way: I have more things I have to do than what has been done!  And I’m not in a panic… YET. To make you feel so much better, just know that I haven’t even started on invitations that I plan on mailing beginning of August. So far, I’ve only ordered the RSVP envelopes which should arrive on Monday. Good luck! Almost there…

@Purple_Bride:  aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh 99 days!

big stuff is finish booking the honeymoon, secure transportation, and get bridal party gifts. lots of crafts, organization, fittings, following up with bridal party members about their looks, etc., but most of our big stuff is done!

Ugh I have tons to do still, invitations being at the very top of that list.  However I did just finish my registry and am making my favors this weekend, so I’m feeling good about that.  Fortunately most of the stuff I have to do is fun stuff (like making my table numbers with pictures of Fiance and I at each age, and painting our UP-style mailbox/cardbox).

I have so much to do:

finalize menu for the reception

find a place to have our day-of lunch (this is the top of the list)

find a hair stylist

buy shoes

mail invitations (at least they’re printed and ready!)

meet with veil designer

procure and create wedding chalkboards

book our hotel room

figure out transportation (based on where we have lunch)

second meeting with DOC to figure out timing

send music ideas to friend who is creating playlist

pester Fiance into buying his goddamn suit (I’m secretly jealous of this entire process- I’m making him do it with his guy friends but really I would love to be there since A)I didn’t go dress shopping and B)he’s getting a couture suit and I’ve never shopped for something that expensive before!)

buy rings- at least they’re designed already picked out!

finalize flowers, but that’s not a huge deal as my “florist” is a close friend who i see almost daily

non-bridesmaids gifts

also lose 15 lbs. ugh.

gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh 99 days!!!!

I can’t believe it’s only 99 days away! EEEEEEEEE! I’m so excited. I remember when it was 300 days away and I thought 100 days would be nothing.

I still have to:

-write the ceremony (doing this together with FI)

-make the escort and place cards

-whiten my teeth (dreading this because the strips hurt my sensitive teeth)

-get in shape/drop a few lbs (started weight watchers this week and 30 day shred today)

That’s basically all I can do at this point. I’m kind of disappointed I can’t do more, I have that itch to get things done. (Feel free to slap me, so not a real problem.) There are still other things, I just have to wait on other people for them!

Need to finish printing and putting together the invites. Finish centerpieces. Escort cards need done. Seating chart. Fiance needs to pick a ring. Photobooth backdrop needs made. Need to coordinate getting ready timeline and photo timeline with hairstylist and photog. Need to book hair and makeup trial. Need to find a seamstress and get alterations started on my dress. The guys need measured for their tuxes. Need to order flower girl dresses. Need to get the music organized (we’re having an iPod wedding)! I still need jewelry and hair accessories. Aaaaah so much to do!

–  Find shoes for my dress (I need them by the end of the month for fittings!

–  Decide on favors and order them

–  Finish addressing invitations and mail them out

–  Find undergarments for my dress

–  Pick out and purchase rings

–  Set up meeting with officiant

–  Get marriage license

–  Pay off honeymoon

–  Get bridal party gifts ordered ASAP (I’m having custom made makeup bags made in different fabrics)

–  Check vendor contracts to make sure everything is paid off

–  Contact photographer to confirm details for October 5th

I’m sure there are other things, but my brain is pudding at this point.

Yay, a lot of October 5, 2013 brides here! Eighty-nine more days! 🙂

We still need to:

1. Book our limo

2. Make our buffet/appetizer/bar selections (around August 5th)

3. Plan our actual timeline for the day (aside from knowing the ceremony start time)

4. Plan our ceremony details with our officiant (within the next couple of weeks)

5. Marriage license!

6. Book our rehearsal dinner (general restaurant seating since it’s 15-16 of us)

7. Make final payments on smaller stuff and finalize their details (cake, photography, officiant)

8. Finalize guest list (due to venue 15 days prior to the wedding)

9. Draw up seating chart

10. Make music selections with DJ; they have an online form

11. Order escort cards/table numbers

12. Order our gifts for the wedding party

13. Finalize flower choices (sometime in August; second-guessing what I want now)

@OtherJesus:  We’re skipping favors, as we’re doing open bar, anyway. Trust me — most people don’t even miss the favors.
