We’re thinking about going the candy route and putting together bags of chocolates or personalized m&m’s.  I guess we’ll see how much we have left in the wedding budget, though.

Eek! I’m feeling the crunch!

Right now I’m going insane waiting for my invitations to arrive (ordered from Etsy).  I wanted to have them to mail out by now, but I’m probably not going to see them until around the 14th. This process frustrated me because I started with her back in MAY thinking that would be plenty of time! But with all the back and forth, and the fact that she takes foreverrrr to respond, they have been delayed. Thank god we sent out STD’s in February and our guest list is small, but I’m still anxious.

The big stuff:

  • Find and book a florist!!
  • Start working on the ceremony with our officiant
  • Fiance needs to buy his outfit
  • Find a good waterproof mascara and liner
  • Meet with DJ to go over expectations of the day, do’s and dont’s etc.
  • Purchase wedding bands
  • Dress fittings
  • Finalize Day-Of Timeline
  • Marriage License

The details:

  • Finish assembling my centerpieces. I’ve done 3/12.
  • Add to music list
  • Work out details of menu
  • Order card box off Esty
  • Order cake stand off Etsy
  • Order personalized handkerchiefs off Etsy
  • Order cake cutting/serving set off Etsy
  • Order burlap for table runners
  • Purchase more mason jars
  • Finish vows
  • Write emotional letters to Fiance, my parents and other important people in our lives.

Oh good, other people still haven’t done any of this stuff either. 😉 Haha.

I reached a point where there wasn’t anything I *could* do for awhile. Like, they told me not to do my fitting until the end of next month. The invitations need to be put together but they aren’t going out for weeks, so I’ve been putting that off. He needs to pick out his ring, but it only takes like two weeks to get in…. so yeah, not exactly feeling the pressure to do anything right now! I kind of wish I was!

I’m a big fan of edible favors. We’re doing cookies for ours!

For me:

1. Marriage License

2. Programs

3. Order wedges/rehearsal dinner shoes

4. Get hair extensions

5. Get photos scanned for our slideshow and make the slideshow

6. Second Hair Trial

7. Order cocktail napkins, welcome bag stuff

8. Dress fittings

9. Lose 15 more pounds, argh

10. Get Fiance tuxedo shirt

11. Groomsmen gifts

12. Place cards/escort cards

13. Seating chart

14. Table numbers

15. Garter

Ugh I’m sure there’s more. I got a lot done this weekend though (brought the Ketubah in to be framed without glass, ordered a bunch of stuff like yarmulkes etc.)

Gosh I feel like I am barely doing anything compared to all you Ladies !! My venue is all inclusive.  Pictures will be take care of , same with florist and catering , salon is upstairs . And my wedding planner ( included in the cost) and the florist are handling the smaller details and decor stuff .

Still have to get tux and flower girl dress for our daughter . Same with my 2 bridesmaid dresses .

Going to do a trial run on hair and make up in august .  Still need to set up a fitting appointment . Also need to find awesome wedding favors and my bridal accessories. also cake tasting this month

Besises  those things I am ready !! :))
