I think its a fantastic idea!

You could choose each pattern/ fabric based on the personal style of each girl as well to personalize it and make each one different!

They are cute, but I wouldn’t personalize them.

I think if i get another monogramed bag I will kill myself. If they were huge bags I wouldn’t like them. The only Bridesmaid or Best Man gift that was a bag that I have used was a small cosmetic bag. I’m SO over the mongogramed/personalized gifts. Why not get them something like you are shopping for them for Christmas or their b-day. It is just my opinion. Every wedding i have gotten the same thing in different variations.

They are cute, but personally I have a million makeup bags from free gifts (Clinique especially).  I’ve probably received more of these than candles, picture frames or any other item that everyone generally has in abundance.  Maybe that’s just me?  Along the same line, I think a clutch that you picked with each person in mind would be much nicer.  I don’t know any sellers offhand, but I have seen many beautiful fabric clutches on etsy.

I love these and I like how you can have them match your girls’ personalities. My only qualm about them would be the price, it seems a little steep for me. But if you can afford it thats great!

Love these. I get free ones too, but I ALWAYS need a new one. (and am always happy to get rid of the most recent ugly clinique bag).

Personally for me, the last wedding I was in the bride gave us all big tote’s with our initial on them, filled with everything pink (the color of her wedding) but it was sort of a bizarre collection of items, most of which I never used.  I was in several weddings before my own, and I can’t say anything I was given was memorable or useful.  Last week I attended a shower where the bride was given a rather unique gift.  It was a beaded cake tester.  They are sold on Etsy and seemed reasonably priced.  The bride loved it.  The one she received was black and blue, but there is one on the site that says great for a wedding and is all silver tone.  I just googled cake tester, her page is http://www.one30oneDesign.etsy.com.

Very cute! But also very expensive in my opinion. Like OPs have said, I’ve received tons of make-up bags from being in weddings and from Clinique, and so have my BMs. So I’m trying to find somethng different, but it’s SO hard! I think they would love these 🙂

What kind of goodies were you going to fill them with? One time I was in a wedding, and we had a personalized make-up bag (I could tell they were cheap… but I still loved them) but they were filled with cheap cheap disgusting candy. I was like, wtf?! I would rather get just the bag… but I guess it was a nice gesture. So note to self: If you give them a bag of goodies and you want to put candy in them, spend the extra $10 to get Reese’s or something good! 🙂
