If you’re wanting to go darker, I love a purplish gloss by Lancome juicy tubes.  It’s the Honey Violet color.  It’s really pretty and stays on well.  I think a richer purple or deep red would look great.

I’m also a fan of Smashbox lip gloss, it is by far the longest lasting gloss I’ve ever tried.  I only have brighter colors, so I’m not sure what shade to suggest.

Also, I’d suggest a lip stain under your gloss.  I used Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Lipcolor in Grand Garnet (a deep red) under my lipstick and it was awesome!

I only wear MAC lipgloss (I actually only wear lip gloss, no lipstick).  MAC has a ton of colors… if you really want some color I would go with “Date Night” (it’s a pink/rose sparkle) or if you want to go pretty sparkly pink there is “Like Venus”.  They are both from the lipglass section of MAC and offer more sparkle.  You should really talk with a consultant there and I would bring your picture.  I’m sure they can find you something!

I love MAC because it’s not sticky and even though I have to reapply during the day, the stay power for me works well.

I normally use Lancome Juicy Tubes or Chanel Glossimers but for my wedding I tried CoverGirl Outlast and it worked out great-looked fab and didn’t have to reapply all night long. Bonus: it’s not expensive so if you don’t like it, you’re not out 30 bucks. I looked at your hair and makeup trial and you have a really pretty peaches n cream complexion. I would suggest a smokier eye and a peachy or soft coral gloss. It would be more flattering for your coloring than going with a dark lip (used to work in cosmetic/skincare boutique and done a little bridal makeup in my time:)

I actually really love Tarina Tarantino’s lip gloss. Some of it’s on sale at Sephora for $10. There’s not a ton in each tube, but it lasts forever. I’m a compulsive lip gloss user, and I can leave it for about four hours, which is huge for me.

Sephora lip glosses are very comfortable to wear.

My favorites are NARS, MAC, and MakeUp Forever.

MakeUp Forever definitely lasted the longest for me, but was a little on the sticky side.

Sally Hansen teeth whitening lip gloss, it makes your teeth look whiter than they are.  Not sure how it works, but it does, and it is one of the best lip glosses that I have ever had.  Never gets stick and stays a long time.

Hmmm, well maybe try a different kind of smoke, like more brownish charcoal. I know that sounds weird but Chanel makes a quad called Dunes that has the perfect colors for you. Also, remember that your makeup should look slightly overdone on your wedding day or you will wash out in photos. When you look in the mirror, you will think you look a little clownish but that is OKAY for your big day. I promise:) I still vote for the lighter lip/smoky eye for you. You are young and dark lips can make you look older if you’re not, say Katy Perry or Lady Gaga. Lol Just play around with it a bit more and you’ll figure it out…
