Man. I hope tonight or soon. Logically there is no POINT in waiting much longer. From all the hints dropped you would think it would have happened a month ago.

Hints include:

Him: I want to start ttc in 2 years (said over 6 months ago if not more)

Him: I want to start ttc right after wedding.

Me: Well if you want to get married in THAT location it obviously would have to be in the summer… anything else is too cold.
Him: July or August would be great!

Him: Are you ok with having little time to plan for a wedding?
Me: Yes… You know I would like to elope?

Him: Will you be my forever lady? X200

Me: When do you think we will get married?
Him: Very soon.

Him:I have been saving over a year for a ring (said few months ago).

Driving me nuts!!!

We won’t be getting engaged tonight, but I did get to see the finalized ring this afternoon and I couldn’t be happier!!

I’m gonna be watching like a hawk for waiting bees to make announcements!

I’ve got my happy dancing shoes ready, or as an alternative chocolate and wine with a pillow to punch out frustration on.

I’m trying to just not think or worry about it and just let whatever happens happen… I’ve been thinking (the longer he’s had the ring and not proposed) that it was because he was waiting for Valentine’s Day. Now that it is Valentine’s Day I’m second guessing that thought. I just don’t know what he’s thinking at all and I’d like to ask but I know the closer it gets to when he will do it…if I say anything I’ll put a damper on his plans.

But we’re getting married on April 3rd…that’s in 48 days!!! I’m so excited but I’d like to be “officially” engaged already haha. And I STILL know where the ring is and I STILL have not seen it in person…just the pretty little box sitting inside his nightstand.

Thinking happy thoughts. We bowl league together tonight so at least we will be having a fun night no matter what. He sent flower delivery to my office and we swapped sweet cards for each other while we had lunch together. It’s been a good day so far. 🙂

I kind of suspected it would be tonight but then my SO had 4 hours of overtime and I had 2 hours of it, so that was a bust. I hate crunch. *grumbles* Anyway we had a lovely Valentine’s Last Couple of Hours of the Evening. Seafood and Star Trek for the win. 🙂 Good luck to all you other bees!

Nothing.

SO kinda blew it by getting me a meat grinder for a gift. He was genuinely excited about gifting me this… but I was just… not excited…

We had a talk…

elliebee357 :  yeah… he asked what was wrong and why I wasn’t excited… I don’t act excited for stuff I AM excited about so… that was a tough one.

itsachickenwingthing :  Did the talk involving bludgeoning him with the meat grinder?

Cause in my mind when a man gives a gift like that on a special occasion he better be prepared to be murdered with it lol.

itsachickenwingthing :  ugh, Fiance got me a blender one year for my birthday. While I needed a blender…it just wasn’t the right move on his part. We now have a “no gifts that need to be plugged in” rule unless specifically asked for. Sorry for the letdown…maybe he’s waiting for a non-special day to make it special just for the two of you?

DaniGirl03 :  No LOL. More like… him asking me whats wrong and why I was not excited… and me saying afterwards “I am getting a little impatient… what is the plan??”… he knew EXACTLY what I meant from that.

But hey… who else will every say they got a dozen red roses AND a meat grinder for valentines day? Not many if you ask me!

peacebethejourney :  We have the same rule in our house, with the add on unless I specifically ask for it for a special occasion. He likes being alive lol.

itsachickenwingthing :  well at least it will make an excellent teaching moment for your relationship. Honey no, no appliances or household items for presents ever.

I have a violent brain apparently though, I had a dream I got so mad that my FH wasn’t proposing I had a huge diamond in my hands and was beating him with it. I have such a violent soul lol. When I told him abotu it he was like honey, you don’t need to beat me up to get your diamond, lol.
