I’m going to be in St. Paul next weekend to find a dress, and I’m looking for dress store recommendations.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
-A great selection – I need to find my dress during this trip! My mom and Maid/Matron of Honor live in St. Paul, the wedding will be in St. Paul, but I live in St. Louis. It just makes sense to get the dress there with them, and I won’t be visiting again until August.
-Able to work with my budget (dress has to be less than $1k). I don’t want to end up at a great store with tons of pretty dresses that I can’t afford.
-Allows pictures. Because yay pictures.
I already have an appointment at the Wedding Shoppe on Grand (a friend works there, so it’s kind of a must), and I’ve already exhausted my options at David’s Bridal. I’m down with going pretty much anywhere in the Twin Cities.

Try Brides of France in Edina. They have new and consignment dresses. Several girls I know loved it.

I like the not so traditional bridal shops, like JCrew and BHLDN.

@missmess: This is not in St. paul but hands down the best expiriance I have ever had at any bridal store is Always and Forever in Hastings. HIGHLY reccomend HUGE selection and there fitting rooms are 2nd to none. Staff is extremley knowledge able and amazing to work with two thumbs WAY up!

Another store that I’m considering going to is Dena Marie’s bridal and tux. I have no idea if they are nice, but they seem to have a good selection from their website. They’re not too far from the wedding shoppe.

I definitely had no luck at the wedding shoppe. My salesgirl wasn’t the best…
Loved Bridal Accent Couture in Savage. Great selection and very attentive.
Also like brides of france in Richfield.
